Terms of service

Starcar is a cloud dealer management system for vehicle inventory, reconditioning, customers, deals, service and public storefronts. We may improve, change or remove features over time. We will give notice before removing a feature your plan depends on.

You must give accurate information and keep sign-in details secure. Account owners and admins control who joins their dealership and what each role can do, and are responsible for activity under their dealership's accounts.

The free plan is available within its published vehicle, branch and user limits. Paid plans are billed in advance for each billing period at the price shown when you subscribe.

Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Unless the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refundable, but you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period.

Your dealership owns the data it puts into Starcar. You grant us permission to host, process and display it only to provide the service, for example to publish the vehicles you choose on your storefront.

You can export all of your data at any time. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the customer information you store, and for responding to your customers' privacy requests. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Do not use Starcar to break the law, list vehicles you are not entitled to sell, publish misleading prices or descriptions, send spam, upload malicious code, probe or overload the service, get around plan limits or security controls, or access another dealership's data.

We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk. Where practical we will contact you first.

The assistant and other AI features can produce inaccurate results. Check important figures, prices and legal or tax content before relying on them. AI usage may be limited by plan.

We work to keep Starcar available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible.

You may close your account at any time. We may end these terms if you materially breach them and do not fix the breach within 14 days of notice, or immediately for serious abuse.

After closure you will have 30 days to export your data, after which we delete it as described in the Privacy policy.

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.

If we change these terms we will post the new version here and, for material changes, notify account owners at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after that date means you accept the change.
